Lightbox advertisements are elegant in appearance and highly effective, so they are widely adopted by numerous businesses. However, the maintenance of lightboxes has become a major issue. Today, let’s learn about the maintenance and care of lightboxes together. After reading, feel free to forward and save it~
Maintenance of Lightboxes
1. Operators must wear work gloves when disassembling and assembling lightboxes. This is because hand sweat contains components such as oil, salt, acid, and alkali, all of which are corrosive. If they adhere to stainless steel, they will gradually corrode the stainless steel surface, causing it to fade and discolor over time, thus losing its original beauty.
2. When disassembling and assembling the lightbox frame, it must be held flat and handled gently. Collisions and twisting are strictly prohibited. Place the frame flat on the ground.
3. Unplug the power plug to disconnect the power supply (do not use the residual current device as a power switch), and then inspect the electrical components (live operation is strictly prohibited). The inspection must be thorough, covering areas such as the power cord entry hole, the input and output terminals of the ballast, and the wires on the lamp holder.
4. The size of the lightbox sheet must match that of the light guide plate. It should not be too large or too small, so as not to affect the display effect and the heat dissipation inside the lightbox.
5. When installing the lightbox frame, handle it gently, lift it flat, hang it flat, then close the lower part of the lightbox and fix it with hexagon socket screws.
6. Then check whether the power cord at the upper part of the lightbox is in the power inlet/outlet slot. If not, corrections must be made.
7. Plug in the power plug, turn on the main power switch, and check if the lights are working normally. If one side is on and the other is off, first turn off the power, unplug the plug, and check if the wires on the lamp holder and the tubes are loose or not properly positioned; check if the input and output wires of the ballast are loose, etc.
8. If the entire lightbox does not light up, check if the residual current device is turned on, if the wire connectors inside the plug are loose, and if the input and output connectors of the ballast are loose, etc.
9. If the residual current device cannot be switched to the on position, check if there is a leakage in the power cord entry, the ballast, the branch circuits under the tubes, etc.
10. If there is excessive noise inside the lightbox, check if the ballast is aging.
11. If the lightbox flickers on and off, check the starter, whether each terminal and plug are aging, and whether the tubes are properly positioned or aging, etc.
Maintenance of Lightboxes
1. Operators must wear pure cotton white work gloves.
2. The outer surface of the lightbox should be wiped once every five days.
(1) For wiping, use a pure cotton towel and a toothpaste solution (half a box of toothpaste + 5 liters of water), then wipe off the toothpaste solution with clean water.
(2) The endurance board should be wiped with a damp towel to prevent static electricity.
(3) Use a brush to clean the electrical parts, and a dry towel to wipe the main power cord.
(4) Wipe the back panel frame with a dry towel.
(5) Wipe the light guide plate with a detergent solution.
(6) The light guide plate should be cleaned once a month.
3. The fixing bolts at the lower part of the lightbox should be wiped with engine oil once every 30 days to prevent rust. (Note: Do not use corrosive cleaning agents to wipe the lightbox.)
The above are the daily maintenance and upkeep methods for lightboxes, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
